Fixed cost
Under this model all the support requirements and scope is well defined. At the time of signing contract “Services Level Agreements” (SLA) are supposed to be agreed and support is provided as per the schedule. A team of dedicated resources with a manager has been allocated for the respective project. It is ensured that the respective resources of the team are not engaged in any other project. Project Manager is the single-point of contact person from for all types of client interaction.
As the contract signed between Client and GenX, after that knowledge transfer phase started between them. On the basis of complexities of application, the transfer of knowledge is done on-site or offshore at client’s location.
Time & Material
T&M FOR LONG TERM CONTRACTS
This model is effective when it is clear that the client will be in long term commitment with us and providing day to day regular work but, wanted to spend on actual work done only. GenX maintains a timesheet for all the issues and efforts put on the project and send it to the client for approval. On the basis of these timesheets invoices are raised by GenX.
ODC
ODC functions as a cost effective unified extension of your organization’s own development center. This radical concept has combined features of first two models. In this model as per the client technology and experience requirement, a dedicated team of resources is established by GenX. Costing is done on the bases of per headcount.
This model is suitable to the following organizations:
• The organization involved in developing projects and wanted to control the project cost without doing any compromise in the product quality
• The organization wanted to create their Offshore IT department
• The organization with several small applications and wants to maintain at a less cost through single company like GenX
• The organization expecting large modules to be added in the application and wanted to cover that cost in maintenance cost only.
For those foreign companies ODC is the winning formula who wanted to take advantage from already established companies, their infrastructure, avoiding the setup stresses and wanted to get benefits from the fruits of an already offshore platform.
